LadyCasey You guys (and girls) always talk about castle hunting, which I am not proud to say I've never been able to do, (but I will someday) and I would like to respect peoples decisions on whether or not to tresspass, so my question is how and the heck to you find the owners? Isn't that really hard to do? AJR Whilst castle hunting my first approach is to ask any locals who may be around, or at the local tourist information centre. If the castle is inhabited, then I walk up to the front door and ring the bell or rap the knocker. Politeness goes a long way, and as we've said, if you know a little of the history of the place, you're often well away. Research followed by castle search is best.
Andrewipflo yes, you can do wonders with coming from far and knowing a bit about the history of the place, most times the owners find such beautiful.
